ARISE RACING GT has completed their first visit to Mount Panorama’s iconic Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour , claiming victory in the Pro-Am class in the 2025 edition of Australia’s International Enduro.
The team also finished fourth outright in the demanding race, Chaz Mostert hustling the team’s Pro entry to the lead with less than half an hour to go before a late stop for fuel.
While Mostert, Will Brown and Daniel Serra claimed a top five finish on the team’s debut, it was Jaxon Evans, Alessio Rovera, Elliott Schutte and Brad Schumacher celebrating the Pro-Am victory at the end of the day.
The successful debut for the team proved their credentials against world championship-calibre outfits.
The race was a mixture of high drama and high speed. The first half was punctuated by Safety Car periods, and the second half by long green flag runs where a variety of fuel strategies began to take hold.
The team’s Pro car was a contender throughout the day and burst into the lead just eight laps into the race.
With Mostert anchoring and both Brown and Serra doing the mid-race heavy lifting, the squad remained within 60 seconds of the lead for almost the entire race, as teams played out the unfolding fuel strategies and battled for track position.
Requiring one more stop than the leaders within the final hour of the race, Mostert charged for the lead late in the day and led a further eight laps before stopping to ensure the car made it home.
The Pro-Am battle was a game of cat and mouse between the Arise Racing GT #36 entry and the EMA Motorsport Porsche, the Ferrari initially gaining a lap advantage - one that only disappeared late in the race.
The quartet prevailed however to deliver the team a Pro-Am win and finish eighth outright at the line, capping off a remarkable debut performance in Australia’s longest race.
The result was just the second Pro-Am class win for Ferrari in the history of the race, backing up the two outright victories achieved by the brand.
Arise Racing GT now turns their attention to the opening round of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia championship, to be held at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on 4-6 April.

Team Owner Laurence Escalante
“It was a great team effort over the weekend, we have some great drivers and the team threw everything but the kitchen sink at this and came away with a great result. There are obviously things we can work on but it was an exciting race weekend all around, an amazing atmosphere in the team, and we loved every second of Bathurst.”
Team Principal Jordan Oon
“It wasn't easy, but for our first ever 12-hour race to have two cars arrive home straight and we can roll them on the truck is always great. 4th outright and 1st in Pro-Am against some heavy international competition, I couldn't be happier with our guys they worked tirelessly in the lead up and throughout the race weekend, a result like this is well deserved for the team and it just gives us more and more to build on.
Elliott Schutte – Pro-Am winner
“That was some crazy stuff out there for my first 12 hour in a GT3 race car! I'm extremely grateful to be able to do what I do, the whole team was flawless, we even ended up doing a brake change throughout the race, and the guys did it perfectly. To come away with a win in Pro-Am is a fantastic result to start the season and I can't wait to see what this year brings.”
